Despite being my first representation of a real world structure, I did not want my peice to depict the building as it is but rather an idealized version of itself. Mimicing the art style of many Pixar films that captured our childhood, I attempted to create a cartoony yet detailed image which tells a story through every nook and cranny of this seemingly unimportant intersection.

In terms of technical detail, every texture within this scene was developed using new AI tools and implemented into Unreal Engine material blueprints. In order to create the roads and city streets, I used a custom built houdini script which I developed during my time at MPC. The flora and trees were build using SpeedTree and took advantage of the new Nanite tools in order to have exceptional quality with little to no latency.
